A fan continuation of Banana Fish. Or rather, a fragment of lore pulled from the restless mind of a kid who refuses to let it end. Seven years later, Ash believed he'd finally clawed his way into the skin of a normal life. Mornings without blood on his hands. Nights without ghosts at the window. But old habits rot slow, and normalcy is a language he never learned to speak fluently. He built it anyway. From the dirt, with scraped knuckles and borrowed time. Then the message came. No name, no address. Just a cipher that only one ghost would recognize. Yut-Lung wasn't asking for Aslan Jade Callenreese. He was calling for Ash Lynx. Back in the current. Back in the wire. Can a future stitched from silence ever hold? Or does the river always pull you back under? Read at your own risk. True Banana Fish fans know how the banana current moves. After getting killed you woke up in an all familiar world that still was not your own. Having been given a second chance you decided that after settling down you would prevent as much suffering as you could for the characters you knew and loved. But a lot of factors will try to mingle with your plans.

An alternative ending where Eiji saves Ash at the last minute before bleeding out. Since he's powerless in a wheelchair he has help, of course.

Yeah idk I'm half awake making this it's just gonna be a little banana fish one shot with Ash and Eiji(I totally forgot what one shot means) and uh it's gonna basically be like Idk reincarnation blahblah I can't think of anything else enjoy cause I'm not going to.👍

I think we can all agree the ending to Banana Fish left us all heartbroken. In this story Ash lives because he deserves it.

She have to witness it, how cold-blooded humans can be and how money and status can wipe them out just like a dirt. For 3 years, Y/N live on the street and survive on her own by stealing and assault. No home, No rules, just herself trying to survive as she curses the life she's forced to live in. Thats how it is until a kind Chinese-American take her in, showing kindness in the cruel world they live in and giving her a family where she can come home to.
