Eve Morley is FED UP with her neighbours. If only they would stop pestering her, she could focus on practicing her trumpet. Because if there's one thing Eve needs, it's the music scholarship to Clarington University. The only problem? Jack Anderson from next door wants it as bad as she does. And he will stop at NOTHING to ruin her dream... Jack Anderson is sick and tired of Perfect Eve Morley. How can she be an honours student, star athlete AND brilliant musician at the same time? The only time he feels superior is with his violin at his cheek, so obviously the scholarship for Clarington is his and his alone. So why won't Eve quit trying? Two families, two teenagers, one rivalry. Will Jack and Eve ever be happy? Will they learn to tolerate each other? Will they find love? Or will 24 Lillian Lane always be divided... This is an idea I thought of back in grade 8, reading Romeo and Juliet. It's a variation on Shakespeare's classic story, set in modern times. (Well, no one dies...) Things that are so true only band people will understand

Charlie is just your average antisocial, band geek, nobody...who happens to have a huge crush on the star of the football team. Xander Brookes is the most popular boy in school with a huge secret and a scary fate. "Of All People" is a story about how these two people follow fate, and end up in the most unexpected situations. Alannah Parker is a girl from the UK, transferring because she's considered a musical prodigy. She has an checkered past, not letting it show by covering it with a bright smile and happy attitude. Hudson isn't too fond of this transfer student. Before he even met her, he would call her a 'band geek.' He doesn't need any distractions, and needs to focus on his school work. Imagine his shock when he realizes this 'band geek' is prettier than most girls at his school. Once Alannah arrives in sunny Los Angeles, she is attracted to Hudson, but she doesn't need another guy like him in her life. She is there for one and one reason only-- to get away. She has a gift, one which she uses to escape. Escape her life, her sadness, her problems. Once drowned in music, she drops her facade of happiness.

I was tagged for this by my best friend TipsyJune which means I have to tell you all twenty facts about me. Well here goes! Enjoy!! Also please check out my stories??? I know they aren't much but it means the world to me knowing that some people appreciate my ideas.

The flutes and french horns have joined forces against the trumpets. The tuba slept with a saxophone. Tenor saxophone quit. The bassoon is drinking. The percussion have broken the piano, much to the bassoons dismay. It's just another average year as a Cooperstown High School Band student. Cooperstown has never been beautiful. And I doubt it ever will be. Nothing about it really is. There's the Western Side, where all of the rich people live in their big houses and large yards and apple trees. There's the Slums, where all of the people wrecked by poverty and drugs live in their rundown apartments and clubs. There's downtown, where all of the people doing okay live, around St. Judas River and Jesus Street, and no one knows who named those two but they clearly didn't read the Bible. There's the schools. Cooperstown Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. The only ones we need to hear about are the ones in the Cooperstown High School Band. The ones with problems. The ones with issues. The ones who don't really think this world, in the town Cooperstown could even have the possibility to be beautiful. But then they find out that Cooperstown is losing funding, and the band will be cut out entirely. The Bassoon will have to become sober and give up owning cigarettes. The famed Trumpets and French Horn/Flute rivalry will have to come to an end. (But only with some Romeo and Juliet crap.) The Tuba and a Saxophone will have to work out the issues that come with sleeping together. The Seniors have exams. Dallas will have to get over his grief. Brianna must realize that what she wants is okay. Benny has unrequited love. Brooklyn has confusing love. All of them have issues. All of them have problems. All of them have trouble seeing the world as a beautiful place. But this year will change that. Because this year they have to band together to save the band. But t I refuse the lie--only like fifteen kids are actually doing anything.

Skylar is just another freshman, but she's a band geek. High school is full of ups, downs, twists, and turns. And being in the high school band that practices all the time doesn't make it easier. With 4 great years ahead of her, what will ever happen? Fall in love? Fall in hate? Loose everyone? Become popular? Maybe the normal high school life isn't good enough for this quirky girl.
