So, he seeks the attention of a new hero, who, for once, returns his feelings. When Joker finally finds happiness, it's now Batman's turned to be left in the dirt. Humanity is going through changes. Change one made a little less than a third of the population dual sexed (hermephrodites), change two made a virus break out which threatens Gotham and the rest of the world, turning people into flesh eating monsters, and change three is being warily awaited. Bruce Wayne takes in Harley and joker for the finishing of their rehab a few months after change one. Change two complicates things with the three.

It's like a beginning of a bad joke, the kind that people laugh at but nobody finds funny. Bruce Wayne goes to a bar to find out if the rumors about a new smuggler operating from the place are true and ends up getting drunk with Joker. It has to be a joke. or Bruce tries to date Joker and keep him from finding out he's Batman at the same time.

The Joker was back and with that fact there was sure to only be more bloodshed to follow.
