***Top Ten for @Syfy's #Battlethebeast*** It happened in seconds. Knowledge was supposed to give them an edge. How could they ever be ready for this?

Quentin meet Pandora a circus magician in the library. Will her helping them would they be able to finally win against the beast?

For the third time now, Quentin Coldwater and his friends have gone up against the Beast. But when they don't know what they've already tried, and Jane isn't willing to fill in any gaps, they have to work to find a way to defeat The Beast.

This is my entry for the #BattleTheBeast contest by SyFy for the show The Magicians. It has exactly 1,495 words. I hope you enjoy my simple twist on an amazing series!

Quentin Coldwater and friends are hunted by a powerful monster hell bent on destruction. Their only chance to save them themselves, Fillory, and all of magic is to travel back in time to before the Beast gains his powers and eliminate the threat from the source.

Quentin and his friends made the choice to learn the hardest magic that there is: Berserker Magic, but are they skilled enough to control it, or will they be consumed by its raw power? (#battlethebeast 1,500 word Syfy contest)

This entry explores one of Alice, Margot, Eliot, Penny, and Quentin's battles against the Beast. Journey to Fillory with them and discover what went wrong on the 37th trip.

This is my entry into the Wattpad Contest for #BattleTheBeast. The Beast corners the young magicians in the woods where nothing but a grizzly death awaits them. He has already killed them 25 times before and is more than ready to do it again. Somehow this time feels different and the person who suffers the most may just be The Beast himself.

Quentin and his gang face off against the Beast once again. This time, they stand a chance with the help of a familiar face from the Beast's past. The fateful battle may have a handful of not-so-pleasant immediate consequences for everyone involved.

The Magicians come into possession of a book of spells written by an unknown author. Its pages made of special parchment that is so powerful it is immune to being destroyed. The only problem--the words are written in a language and symbols not known to man--leading them to believe the book is cloaked in a spell to disguise its true words to the naked eye. So certain that the book contains something that will help them defeat the beast, they search for a way to unveil its language. Having no luck with uncloaking spells, they began looking for a different solution. After weeks of searching ,as well as much trial and error, they finally acquire a magical object(thanks to Lovelady) known as 'The Glass of Translation'. An object that when held above any words or symbols-known, unknown or even made up-would manifest itself in the language best known to the person that held it. It is by this they come across a spell sure to help them in their quest to fight the beast.

This is my #BattleTheBeast entry for SyFy's The Magicians. Any and all comments/critique are welcomed.
