Beheard Stories

Stories came with a title. They don't let you indulge on the road that seems no direction at all. To continue, you have to be precise to where you should be going in the first place. Once settled, the description of the story itself, must coordinate with the title you came up with. You have to secure the place to keep your readers on track. With the succeeding steps, all your chapters to create, should be a compass to reach the final spot. If the steps you take doesn't make any progress, DON'T SETTLE on them. Let's navigate on discovering new ladders to walk on and continue with your goals. Same with what you are pursuing to achieve. When you want to grow in the path that you've chosen...you have to be precise and consistent. And, allow me reiterate this, you DON'T have to SETTLE on the STAGE that doesn't give you the SPOTLIGHT to GROW. Discover new and PROCEED. ALWAYS REMEMBER... DON'T SETTLE.

I've trained myself to hide my voice for years. I've convinced myself that what I had to say didn't matter. I wouldn't properly express myself. But through writing✏This is where I can truly find my voice. And unsilence myself.

"Diana, look at me." Atticus whispers as he pushes some of my brown hair out of my face. When I don't, he gently holds my chin and ushers me to look up into his sea blue eyes. "What did they do to you?" "It's been happening for years." I reply hoarsely. "How long?" "Since the day I left." Diana has had many things to deal with. Moving away from her best friend, Atticus. Her only friend. Having a step father that changed her life and a mother who doesn't even notice. She quickly made friends with some very bad people.

this is where i'm going to rant on the world. Mostly our dying one and our future in it. I'd love to hear what you think on this issue, so comment and debate with me (respectfully please). Before you read this story, PLEASE READ MY BIO TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS ACCOUNT IS ALL ABOUT. The idea is to publish multiple stories/ideas on differing topics from multiple perspectives. Through this, I hope to make myself and others more open to all ideas and opinions from as many areas of life as possible. Each 'chapter' will be it's own individual story, poem, or simple writing.

This is for all you guys and girls out there (including me) that need to share something or just want to talk. If you want to ask questions or share your likes and dislikes feel free. This is not for me to only comment it's for anyone that has an opinion. The only thing I ask is please respect others values, beliefs, and opinions. Everyone is not going to have the same mind set. So without further ado this right here is literally where you can "Spill your Guts".

"Uncle" is an African man with a prominent title that lacks inherent self-respect. "Uncles" are African men that prey on little girls instead of protecting them; they are African men that carry out acts of domestic violence; they are African men that disrespect women without a care. "Uncle", is an African man that is driven by toxic masculinity; a man that thinks he is entitled to every woman's body. Unfortunately, our African Aunties remain dormant and refuse to speak up about these precarious situations and in turn, they fail to put an end to these toxic behaviors. Instead, the blame is thrusted upon the victims and our African Aunties vehemently defend these African "Uncles".

Ever want to say the something, something so terrifyingly scary; terrifying to the point that you'd be risking everything - ever get the urge to just share it, anyway? What do you hope for? Are you hopeful at all? What do you want to say- what do you want the world to hear from you? 'Write it out, so that they may chase it' said a prophet of old. And write it out I will.
