Chloe Beale a nineteen year, self-confident girl, is on a summer holiday with her parents, brother Luke (24), and sister Lindy (22). After this holiday, she begins her sophomore year. She meets Beca at the beach and likes her immediately. Beca Mitchell a seventeen-year-old girl, who has divorced parents. Her brother Joey (26) lives together with his girlfriend in San Francisco, her brother Troy (22) lives with her mother in Los Angeles and her little sister (Isa)Bella (15) lives with her father in Atlanta. After meeting Chloe, she can't get her out of her head... Beca and Chloe don't see each other for a whole year after that holiday, the contact between the two remain through messages and phone calls.
