taylor scott, a 15 year old girl who lives with her abusive, alcoholic dad. her mother died while giving birth to her, so she has no other siblings, and her father blames her for her mother's death. she lives in las vegas, and goes to ridgewood high school and is a sophomore, with her best friends brendon urie, spencer smith, and ryan ross. in one of her classes, she meets a new girl, nicole row. nicole shares a few classes with taylor and the boys, and begins to develop a friendship with them. eventually, nicole joins the boys' band, panic! at the disco as their new bassist. through this time, taylor is going through some struggles. nicole, brendon, spencer, and ryan all try to help her. * many trigger warnings throughout this book, read with caution *
