His eyebrows raise at that, he'd heard of her family. God, practically everyone in Panem had heard of her family. Because every time a Blessing child had volunteered for the Hunger Games, they didn't just win - they entertained.

Every year, the tributes fight in the Hunger Games arenas. Every year, the citizens of Panem and the Capital watch. And every year, the mentors have to watch from the mentors room, famed Victors themselves, and almost entirely unable to bring home another Victor. Nobody's ever said that a Victor's life got easier after the games ended.

I won the Hunger Games once. They called me a Victor, but I know better. The Capitol took everything from me, my family, the boy I loved, even the right to call myself alive. However Peeta has been taken by the Capitol, the revolution has begun, and District 12 is no more. At District 13, Maddie is struggling. She is confused and angry. People look up to her as the Mockingjay, a symbol of hope. Can Maddie really step up as a symbol to everyone? Can she rescue Peeta? Credits: Same as always. As soon as the arena exploded, I knew our plan had worked. All I needed to do now was find Katniss, Beetee, Finnick or Johanna. I saw a figure in the distance. "Johanna!" I called out to her. A hovercraft circled ahead. Haymitch and district 13 had seen us. We were going to live. "RUN!" Screamed Johanna. Confused I looked up. It wasn't district 13's. It was the Capitol's. Something stung the side of my head and I felt dizzy. I looked back and Johanna was on the ground, being picked up by the machine. We weren't going to make it, but in my heart I knew Katniss was going to be ok.

Adilade Cruise was a young girl from district six. She won the 73 annual Hunger Games. She won because the other tribute from six killed him self so she could win in peace. Little did she know that everyone now hates her. She's been living in a jail cell in the capitol and only eats once a week. Her life isn't very good. Is it possible for the Hunger Games to be real, but just in a different life? When Katniss has a terrible incident with falling from a tree, she wakes up in a strange place. Reality, or what we call reality. The people there are familiar; Gale, Peeta, Madge, Darius. But the things around her are totally alien; Homecoming, high school, certain classes. Years after the hunger games and the rebellion all living hunger games victors receive a letter telling them they have to go back and finish high school. Also Finnick is alive (it just fits better with the story and provides some comic relief.) This doesn't follow the epilogue just so y'all know.

"Hazel Zinnia." I froze, stiffening up. That was my name. I was going in the Hunger Games... ~~~ This story is ongoing, so...I might update once a day or every couple of days... Different POV's, but right now I'm focusing on Hazel. I might go back to Jack later. I took...creative...liberties while writing this book, but all credit goes to Suzanne Collins! Some characters might be a little different, but as I said...creative liberties.

Aurelia Sallow has spent 10 years of her life hiding in the shadows, only appearing for the reaping ceremony, to snag things like food or supplies for her inventions, or to go to the black market, where she sells some of her creations to others. But on the day of the reaping ceremony for the 74th Hunger Games, which was also her 16th birthday, Aurelia was forced into the spotlight when she was reaped for the games. Making her the female tribute from District 3 for the games that year. Things couldn't get any worse- Right? (I do not own the Hunger Games in any way shape or form.
