Our first thoughts tend to be rude and unkind. I'm striving to be more like my second thought, understanding and apologetic.

Have you ever tried to have a friendly debate with someone, but they go on a huge rant and refuse to listen? Have you ever wanted to make a point, but the other person seems to be opposed to letting you? Have you ever wanted to see the opposing side's views, but the people you talk to don't want to talk to you about it, or are completely rude to you when you ask about it? I used to be the rude type of person who didn't like listening to other people's ideas, and now I'm the one making a debate book. Ironic. Anyway, this is a place to talk about opposing views on any subject you want, suggest anything! :)

Why do we learn about maths when an 8 year old has no idea they're being abused? Why is life romanticised in every single story? Why can't we have one story that represents a lot more than just the characters in it? My aim of this short story is to provoke thoughts about each of these questions and more. Make the most of life and be kind to each other. This isn't supposed to be a feel good story, although it does have a feel good meaning.

On January 19th my heart horse died. I watched the life leave her earthly body. I miss her more every day but I've learned how to cope with the pain. It doesn't mean I love or miss her any less. It just means my heart got stronger. I hope yours does too.🤍

This is a poem about struggling with an eating disorder and the problems/conflicts that come with it along with the need to protect this disorder by making sure no one finds out or suspects a thing in her daily habits. In her eyes there will be no end to the suffering and pain that this disorder has deeply internalized.
