Benjamin Beast is plagued with dreams of four villain descendants who he has never met. These dreams are like memories, so real yet not. They keep him from sleeping. Ben hasn't become King yet, deciding at sixteen to wait until he finished school first. Now, eighteen Ben makes the decision to tempt fate and invite over four villain descendants from the isle of the lost.

With his newly found villainy, Carlos goes about his dark days with his brother. The spells were causing thunderous clouds above Auradon Prep, and of course all eyes were on him already. With the new Villain Kids around the school grounds things are more intense, stressing, and down right chaotic. Not to mention the Rotten Kids had already banded with the Royals to correct the others. But nothing goes as it should, especially not when the bad guys are just wingin' it.

A mere week following Maleficent's attack on Auradon Prep, Carlos De Vil learns that the barrier surrounding the Isle of the Lost was beyond repair and the villains had been sailing the short distance between the two lands for seven days. He only ever felt these things when he was in the presence of one special person prince ben. Ben was charming, kind, helpful. And so confusing to Carlos. He'd never been treated the way Ben treated him before and that left him in a spiral of unknown emotions. Maybe this was what he needed. Maybe Ben was going to be the one to show Carlos something he didn't know he'd been craving for so long. Between stolen glances , melted chocolate and he's darkest fears Carlos begins to question everything his mother raised him to believe. Maybe he was worth more than just being a servant. This story is a slow-burn romance from Carlos's POV. It follows him as he discovers things he didn't know he's needed his whole life.
