The VKs are a four-part singing group made up of Mal, Carlos, Evie, and Jay. They live a hard life trying to strike it big in Isle City. Their lives are changed forever after being invited to play at the biggest celebration of the century, especially for a very famous prince and a VK. Modern Music Group mixed with a Cinderella Story of sorts.

When the four Villain kids get to Auradon, and Carlos meets Ben, he feels as though it is love at first sight. But the plan that Maleficent had assigned to them, and the fact that Audrey is still Ben's girlfriend gets in the way, and he decides to bury his feelings. But a small hiccup interrupts the whole plan when Mals love cookie makes Ben fall in love with Carlos! Running out of time, they decide to let Carlos go with it, and in the middle of all of it, he realizes his true feelings for Ben. But a big mistake from Mal leads to the destruction of Ben's life that Carlos tries to fix, which leads to dire situations.

Carlos's craving for chocolate causes him to sneak out. Which could land him in huge trouble. But he doesn't find the trouble he suspects.

Mal catches Doug cheating on Evie but Evie didn't believe her. Mal, Jay, Evie and Carlos stop being friends for a while. Mal breaks up with Ben and tells him why she broke up with him. My friend made me write this- this is a joke.

When Carlos was first told he would be leaving the Isle of the Lost, all he could feel was relief. He would be leaving that shit hole, the place he had called home for the past fourteen years. It had been his impossible dream since forever. And so when he had the chance, he ran before his mother could take it away. But things never come for free, and this time the price of freedom - even temporarily - is to steal Fairy Godmother's wand. And apparently, seduce a prince.

Ben is currently dating Audrey, Mal has a plan about stealing Fairy God Mother's wand. But it requires a love potion. So her plan is for her to stand infront of Ben and give him the cookie. That'll make him fall in love with her. Right? Wrong. The love potion backfires and when Ben is eating the cookie, he looks over at Carlos. Which makes the love potion backfire. It makes Ben fall in love with Carlos De Vil. Mal didn't think much of it because they would still be able to get the wand. But Carlos starts falling for Ben. What happens when they need to steal the wand and go back to the Isle of the Lost? Read to find out.

Carlos has been struggling to readjust to life back on the Isle and he is vastly regretting going this far back in time. After being reinvited back to Auradon, Carlos reconnects with the Fairy Sazana who informs him that things aren't quite the same as it was the first time around and that he's the only one that can fix everything before it completely falls apart. Carlos is determined to put things the way they were and get Ben to fall in love with him all over again, but this time it won't be so easy. As quickly as it happens, Carlos finds himself losing the memory of the original timeline and forgets what he's supposed to be doing. If he forgets it all, will he be able to fix everything? Will he be able to get Ben to love him again? In this book, Time has the last say in everything.

A mere week following Maleficent's attack on Auradon Prep, Carlos De Vil learns that the barrier surrounding the Isle of the Lost was beyond repair and the villains had been sailing the short distance between the two lands for seven days. Finally, they arrive, and begin to cause destruction, end friendships, murder and spark an entire war whilst attempting to take over Auradon.
