(JULY 2020- ongoing ) Michael thought he had it all - the power, respect, money, and any woman that could fill the void left by someone he drove away years ago. That was until Tommy exiles him into America. And now all he might possibly have, is the same woman he took for granted. Only this time, she appears to want nothing to do with him. Loosely based on Peaky Blinders, and this is me trying to redeem Michael in my heart after season 5. Also inspired by the song "Better Man" recorded by Little Big Town and written by Taylor Swift. I do not own any of the original Characters mentioned from Peaky Blinders.

She always did well in school, was a talented artist, and always had her best friend, Luke Hemmings, right next door. Ruthie and Luke were attached at the hip. If you saw Ruthie somewhere chances were that Luke was right behind her. He always had her back and she always had his. As they grew up Luke and Ruthie wouldn't miss a chance for any party they could find. Luke slept with any girl that came into view while Ruthie on the other hand ran the opposite direction from any guy she saw and if she didn't Luke scared them off. Right before the summer after graduation, she thought she received the worst news she could have ever heard. That was just the beginning. Nothing could have prepared her or Luke for what was about to happen. This story will have triggering topics so please be cautious!

There are things, perhaps, that no longer need answers. Questions that you may never again be able to ask from the very person you long to hear them from. But there are moments when all you really need is to let those questions out-the ones that haunt your mind. It is something you have to do, so you can finally be free from the ghosts of unanswered questions and from the lingering memory of, "I wish I had said it."
