We all have voices in our head. They tell us and they control us and at the end of the day, they make us. All this time, they spoke in my head and now I give them the chance to speak out loud

Every time that I wake up in the middle of the night, in cold sweat, wondering if what I did to save myself was the right thing to do or not, I remind myself that had I not done it, there would be 12 blood-covered photos instead of 11 and twelve dead bodies instead of ELEVEN. We often find ourselves talking about the people who leave us, hating them because they refused to love us. But my story is about the ones who refuse to leave even when asked to, who hold us captive with their love, against our will. A story of abuse, torture, blood and gore all simply christened as 'a father's love'.

Self love is definitely a journey. To truly love yourself you must first not care about what's others think, You need to get rid of the people that makes you feel so worthless and so difficult to love, You need to realize that you'll never truly be happy until you learn to make yourself happy. And most importantly you need to know that no one will love you in the most special way that you need to be loved by yourself. To anyone whose struggling with loving everything about themselves my advice to you is to just start small with liking who you are first. And then you can truly grow as a person. You'll also be able to love yourself the way you've needed to be loved all along.❤

This is a memoir I wrote. What started as a culminating assignment in my creative writing class, turned into something more big and beautiful than I would've ever imagined it to be. I'm so beyond grateful for the positive feedback, support and recognition from the community on TikTok and after receiving multiple requests for me to publish the full thing online, I have decided to do just that. I am only 18, and my journey into adulthood has only just begun, but that doesn't mean that my life leading up to this hasn't been hard and difficult. I hope that the people reading this memoir feel some sort of inspiration and connection. Enjoy.

Always be you

Lavender is that type of teen who couldn't get anymore extraordinary. For being in a small town, Lavender can really stand from the crowd. Lavender really likes both anime and k-pop. She sometimes fantasying about all the manga and cosplays back. Some think that Lavender is a "Mary Sue" but a few things can balance the scale. She can be awkward and "weird" in peoples eyes, not taking her seriously. Consequently, Lavender can be a target for bullying, at times. Despite the hardships, Lavender hangouts with her group of friends for she likes to call "The Otaku Kids." They put the light into her dark days. The Otaku kids and her have more misadventures with each other then she has by herself. Of course, she is more comfortable with them because their share of interest and hating school. Cringe as Lavender goes to both heaven and hell in her misadventures. Based on the authors life.
