Ezra was a ten-year-old orphan living in the dusty streets of Israel. When he was only four years old, his parents were killed by soldiers of the Roman Empire, leaving him completely alone in a harsh and unforgiving world. With no family to care for him, Ezra learned to survive the only way he could-by stealing food from markets and crowded streets. Hunger pushed him to do things he never wanted to do, but he had no other choice. People in the city soon began to recognize him. They called him names like "street rat" and "thief," chasing him away whenever they saw him near their stalls. No one showed him kindness. No one offered him a home. Love was something Ezra barely remembered from the early years of his childhood. But Ezra's life was about to change. One day he would meet Jesus Christ, the Son of God-and for the first time, someone would see him not as a thief or a nuisance, but as a boy worthy of compassion, hope, and love.

Tales of the Covenant is a collection of biblical-inspired stories and poems that breathes new life into the timeless stories of faith, sacrifice, and divine encounter. From the windswept plains of ancient Israel to the quiet moments of doubt and devotion, each tale weaves rich historical detail with the raw human struggles of those touched by the divine. Whether it's a mother's desperate plea, a prophet's burdened heart, or a sinner's glimpse of redemption, these stories capture the eternal tension between human frailty and the enduring promises of God. Immerse yourself in narratives that echo the trials and triumphs of the faithful, crafted to stir the soul and spark reflection. Perfect for readers seeking poignant, bite-sized stories that blend spiritual depth with vivid storytelling, this collection invites you to walk in the dust of salvation and hear the whispers of grace that still resonate today.

The Story of Ruth from the Bible but retold in a novel-like manner. This story is based on the book of Ruth, but it is not entirely accurate. There are bits of events that aren't mentioned in Scripture, though I do my best to stay true to the real story, only adding touches of romance and thrill. This book was made for educational, recreational, and spiritual purposes.

'Campfire Conversations' are a collection of short stories retelling classic Bible stories from the old and new testaments. They follow two points of view: the POV of our story tellers, Martha and Lucius, and the POV of the people in the Bible accounts. These POVs are separated by the * symbol. 'David's Mighty Men' tells the story of three men in King David's army who went the extra mile to protect his kingdom and spark bravery in their fellows, when the Philistines had discouraged them all. For their courage and valiance, they earned themselves honourable mentions in 2 Samuel 23. These men are proof that trusting God for protection, and being bold even in times of tribulation, are qualities which only spread and sharpen those around you. When we are willing to risk it all, God can use us the most.

God makes it very clear in his word, the Bible, what He expects of us and how we should live. He makes it very clear how He rewards those who choose Him, and how He punishes those who choose sin. As Israel lives and grows in the promised land they feel a need for change and when agreements are harder and harder to find they decide on appointing a king as their leader. God wanted to be their 'king', but in making this decision Israel puts the fate of their country in their leaders hands. Just as we have good and bad leaders as our president, the Israelites deal with corruption, deception, greed, and also some really great men who fear God and lead them in the right direction. Regardless, it will quite the learning experience and with sin among them they will quickly see how hard it is to follow God's leadership and a ruthless king's leadership. Through studying these Bible times we will learn what works and what doesn't when forced to follow man's rules, and guidance. We will take away some very valuable lessons and will most importantly grow closer to God as we read how He reacts to all the kings do during their reign over Israel.

...maybe it all began when the king had erected an altar to ba'al there in Israel, "To please his queen," he had said, it was going to be a symbol of peace and unity between the two nations and a future to look forward to. Of course that future had come, as it wasn't long till the Israelites became partial to ba'al's teachings, the Phoenicians joy could know no bound as the proud nation of Israel, the centre of all important events that ever happened were on their side and worshiped their god! What could have possibly gone wrong with that...? But then, that man had come along...

A more interesting, and understandable version of God's Word, unaffected by opinion. Adapted from thre different versions and written Rick Riordan Greek Myth style, with good grammar, humour, and lots of other shit. Basically Bible fanfiction. Except I don't corrupt God's views. Or contaminate it with my opinion. DISCLAIMER: I AIN'T GOD (duh), AND THIS AIN'T A REAL BIBLE. I'm just a person who has a hard time gleaning the info from His word. I'm not going to change the overall views, I'm not going to censor anything, and I'm going to state the chapter everything comes from so that you can read it for yourself (highly suggested). I hope Christians, non-believers and Atheists alike can come together to make fun of and ridicule this book.

Many people spend Christmas alone, it's a thing that holds some kind of taboo. Many of those people don't talk about it, and likely that's because they really don't want the pity or the judgment.

Forgive me if this sounds ungrateful, but I do not see how carrying the earth's largest and heaviest shield, for a ten-foot monster, up and down a hill twice a day, for more than forty days, is the opportunity of a lifetime. But why should my opinion on it matter anyway? My opinion means nothing. I mean nothing. My life is pointless. Worthless. Useless. ~A short monologue telling the story of David and Goliath from the perspective of Goliath's shield barrer~ Quick Note: This monologue was something I wrote in an assignment for my Creative Writing class. My teacher complimented it, I enjoyed writing it, and so I figured it might be fun to post here! I've left the story untouched since I first wrote it (besides a few grammar and spelling mistakes), so what you'll be reading is the original product. Thanks for considering reading! Imagine if Ruth and Boaz were Nigerians? Well, I've done that for you, and now you can simply relax and enjoy this beautiful piece. Everyone deserves to have a beautiful lovestory like those in the Bible, and my wonderful Nigerians are not excerpted. When life doesn't go as planned for Adesuwa and she has to move away to an unknown land, the last thing on her mind was to be given such a huge responsibility of catering for The Well oil business not to talk of being proposed to by the CEO. This is a Christian Romance Novella that I enjoyed writing and hope you also fall in love with the characters as much as I did. Updates: Every Fridays and Sundays until it's complete. I do hope you stick around 😊❤️
