The Mirror of Erised is manipulated by an unknown person within Hogwarts. The Mirror can now place troubling visions in the minds of anyone who stares at it too deeply. This causes a fracturing between Ron and Harry over their differing backgrounds and leads to Harry growing closer to American born foreign student Billy Batson bestowed with the powers of the wizard Shazam. Kent Nelson a close friend of Dumbledore who died from placing the cursed ring (secretly holding the Resurrection Stone) becomes Headmaster according to Dumbledore's last will and testimony transferring from the American magic school Ilvermony. Nelson does this to watch over Billy's development realizing someone has manipulated time so that Voldemort has a second chance at victory. Billy and Harry however are unaware of this altered destiny for Voldemort but decide to find a means to destroy the mirror not realizing this is a trap orchestrated the unknown threat on the spirit of Voldemort's behalf. Billy and Harry need to overcome their differences with Ron and Hermione to escape this trap and stop whatever Voldemort and this unknown threat are planning.
