Riddlewood City is a masterpiece of industrial biology, but its glow is fading. A psychic epidemic known as "The Static" is driving citizens to madness, while the infrastructure itself is turning predatory. Sheridan Cavendish, the city's most gifted yet unstable Resonator, lives in self-imposed isolation to drown out the city's screams. When a series of "biotic murders"-where victims are fused into the city's machinery-occurs, Sheridan is forced out of the shadows. Accompanied by Dr. Alistair Finch, a man who views the city as a machine rather than a miracle, Sheridan discovers a terrifying truth: The Obsidian Hand isn't just sabotaging the city; they are trying to "wake" the Vitaeon. As Sheridan descends into the glowing, visceral depths of the Undercity, he realizes the "Static" isn't a disease-it's a scream for help. He must choose between silencing the city to save the people, or listening to the horror that his own family helped create.

Lain grew up believing her mother had died on a space mission. Fifteen years later, in the lower gardens of Vika, a broken crystal speaks her name with an impossible voice: her mother's voice. "She is not dead." From that night on, everything Lain believed she knew begins to break apart. Vika, the living floating city where humans, artificial intelligences, and beings fused with biotechnology try to coexist, does not only breathe: it also remembers. But some memories do not want to be found. As Lain searches for the truth alongside Eira, a young woman capable of feeling and carrying the pain of others, an ancient threat returns from the stars. The Gilim-Ra do not come only to conquer. They come to corrupt memories, break bonds, and prove that every form of symbiosis can become domination. In a city where crystals preserve the voices of the dead, loving someone can be an anchor... or a sentence. Ecos de Vika is a story of love, memory, psionic war, and coexistence, where the past is not dead: it is only waiting to be heard. © 2025 Teslaveloper. All rights reserved. A queer historical biopunk sci-fi set at the dawn of the Northern Crusades. A werewolf who survived the Ice Age. A knight trained to conquer. One carries the memory of extinction. The other, the fire of belief. Together, they'll uncover a war written in bone. ********* This is year 1200 AD. Snow hangs heavy over the Baltic frontier. The German crusaders have come--missionaries, merchants, and knights of the Cross--intent on converting the last forest tribes and seizing their land. Among them is Erhart von Rosen, a young knight bound by faith and silence. But when an expedition into the untamed north leaves him the sole survivor, he returns changed. Not with glory--but with questions. He speaks of a beast in the shape of a man. Of a green-eyed figure who spared him. Of an altar made of bone. In the fortress-city that will become Riga, Erhart's faith begins to fracture. The saints grow silent. His dreams bleed with frost and blood. And the forbidden texts of the old faith, he finds a name: Tarn--a memory made flesh, the last of a people bred to endure the Ice Age, their history buried by conquest and flame. Before the first drums of the Northern Crusades begin to sound, a new war awakens--one older than kingdoms, carved into the marrow of the earth. The secret Bone Crusade, never recorded in the annals of history. And as belief collides with memory, two paths entwine: One shaped by blood. One reshaped by choice.

In 2815, a catastrophic eruption of Mount Krakoa occurred, 1000 years after the first eruption of the same scale. The eruption, known as Krakoa's Wrath, impacted not only the citizens of the Majantara Archipelago, but the entire world. Earth was already in a state of devastation due to greed for land ownership and rapid deforestation leading to infertile and toxic land. Despite this, humanity had found ways to adapt and live alongside the devastation using technology and modifications. However, Krakoa's Wrath destroyed all that humanity had built and prided themselves on for centuries. The world was thrown into chaos and people resorted to stealing and invading to survive, but options were limited as some regions were impossible to enter or steal from. It's a different story for Majantara, who was on the top of every thief's priority. The weather was always nice, the archipelago was all green as far as eyes could see, no hostile creatures, and on top of that, Majantarans were known pacifists. It's truly an ideal place to salvage for the thieves. Unlike other regions, Majantara did not suffer heavily from the Wrath. Despite being the closest to Mount Krakoa, there were no casualties, minimum geographical changes, no anomalies, and no calamities. Anyone could travel there with ease. And this, included a bunch of thieves trying to enter as well. Yet, of all numerous attempts of trying to steal something from there, not a single thief had ever succeeded entering the archipelago. It was all thanks to the strong and admirable Guardians of Majantara, making sure that the archipelago stayed safe for as long as they have existed.
