After they took down the Reach invasion, Artemis left the team just before Dick disbanded it for school reasons.(Wally's not dead) Wally and Dick started to get closer and closer to each other and, eventually, they started dating. Four years later, when Dick is about 22, Artemis returns to Central city. There, she finds out that Dick and Wally are married. Basically her POV on this. Jason Todd got into another fight with Bruce. Needing a break, he left Gotham behind for a while, but he also didn't answer his phone. Jason was tired of everyone always taking Bruce's side and wished he had a family of his own so he could cut them off without feeling so lonely, even though he felt alone when around them. Meanwhile, Roy was having another fight with Oliver. Roy had moved to Gotham after his daughter was born, and Oliver was not happy about it. Gotham wasn't known as safe for children, so Oliver kept arguing with him about it-constantly. Roy was finally sick and tired of the arguing, picked up his daughter, and decided to go back to Gotham; but halfway there, he got a text from Jason. They both decided to meet up and take a break, turning off their phones while Jason, who longed for a family of his own, already had a daughter but dearly wanted a mother for her. He missed having the companionship of a partner who had helped raise his daughter quite a lot, but he always wanted her to have a mother figure. What Jason and Roy don't know is that the ancient forces of time have decided to grant their wishes and give both of them the families they desire, even if it wasn't in the way they expected, and certainly not in a manner their families would agree with. Clockwork is facing a significant problem. Danny and Ella's cores are severely damaged, and the only way to fix them is to send them to a different universe and change their DNA. When he revealed the truth to Jazz and their aunt, Jazz offered to be their mother; when he explained that he would have to alter their memories and her injuries to make them different, she agreed. So he went to find the three a new home, and that's when he heard Jason and Roy's wish and decided to grant it.

When Wally West disappeared while saving the world everyone thought he died, but really he went back in time to 1995 and ended up in the body of a newborn girl, Willow. For twenty one years she grows up with no idea who she really was other than the feeling she was different, like she'd done this whole thing before, but then the world almost ends and she gets struck by lightning, that's when everything changes. With new superpowers and fragments of memories she doesn't understand Willow makes her way to Central City where she meets Kid Flash who takes her to the watchtower and asks her to join the team. Being there with them starts to make her remember more and more, but Willow doesn't want to remember because if her suspicion is right she's not who she thought she was and a secret like this might just unravel the team, a group of people who she has come to realize she really cares about.

Staring a genderbend Dick Grayson, This story follows the idea of if Artemis actually did die. Wally blames her death on Nightwing and their relationship goes downhill until Wally realizes how much he hurt his childhood friend and all he's done and knows he has to make things right. Will Wally mend his relationship with Dick, or will they be former friends for the rest of time? Read to find out. I do not own any characters used or anything else. All I own is the actual book itself. This story was inspired by another birdflash book called "work through the pain" by @SotheBalanceShifts which I would highly recommend!
