"Riley!" he shrieked, covering his burning face while peering through his fingers at his future self. "Those pants leave absolutely nothing to the imagination!" He went so unnaturally still I thought his heart had stopped beating. His charcoal-stained fingers curled into tight fists. "Fifty," he whispered, scanning the fatal summary on the glowing screen. Well, my apologies, but there won't be any fancy theatrical descriptions of color in this novel. Instead, it's just a college guy named Lukas. Finding his way through a black and white life. Does it sound melodramatic? Maybe. But this book is anything but dull as you witness the colors slowly seep into his world in a whirl of red, yellow, and blue, dashed with a hint of never-being-the-same.

All Michael Jackson ever wanted was to be accepted for who he was, he didn't want to be accused for molesting children, he didn't want rumors going around saying that he was gay because he never had a relationship (if you didn't know, his first and second wife were arranged marriages). Everything changes when weeks before his death he could hear God speaking to him, later on he died from an overdose of propofol. Everybody thinks he was lying about being a Christian, but they were all wrong. Michael is sent to heaven, but as an angel, he doesn't understand why. Angels were created by God, unlike Michael was created as human and then an angel. Michael soon learns he is to protect a girl that he believes is just another fan, but he looks closely into her past and her life and learns that she's different. Michael learns that fans aren't just fans and they all have a life that isn't always involving Michael Jackson. (I don't own Michael Jackson only my character)
