It has been almost 500 years since he left that message to his kingdom, it has been past to generations to generations of royals and became a fairytale told to the children of the kingdom and even they are still waiting endlessly to when that promised child will be born and comes to them. The War of Kings. That was the name given to the war that started 15 years ago in the Clover Kingdom by a royal family. They had plotted to destroy the entire kingdom. The battle was long due to them being very powerful nobles, with the might of the now Wizard King and Magic Knight Captains being the only thing to stop them. Being the son of two war criminals, Lamine has grown up ostracized and hated by many. He only exists because he's on a tight leash. After a chance encounter with one of his "fans", Lamine is given a chance to take the Magic Knights Entrance Exams--all the while the phantoms of his parents' legacy constantly looms over him.

Luck and Magna were having one of their usual fights, like always. Afterwards, them, Asta, and Noelle were sent out on a mission to obtain something the Captain needed and returned with a boy named Clovis Andino. Over time, Magna was growing more close with this newcomer than expected. Luck then felt... "abandoned"... if that's what you'd call it. He tries pushing away all of these feelings of jealousy bubbling inside of him, but he couldn't help it. Is this newcomer actually who they thought he was?
