Jerry paused "Remember, His son is my child, He wants to get to know his son" "Meaning?, He wants to see his son?"Jerry yearned for more explanation "He is in Nigeria, He now hides to check on his illegitimate son, the wife is aware and supports him fully" Anita sounded scared "Okay , Anita ... what are you afraid of?" "He wants my son to study abroad, after his secondary school" Anita let out a heavy sigh "Well that's a good thing right?, You can afford that if he helps, you know Dean going to one of the biggest schools" Jerry smirked " Wait! He's rich right?" " Stinkingly!!. But as the two get closer and closer sparks begin to fly. This version is really unedited, wrote this when i was younger, i had a lot of ideas in my head, but it was poorly constructed and did not really make sense. Blessed by the gods of her tribe with the magic to mimic the powers of animals, Karasi hunts both down without a sense of fear-not an easy task with her 9 PM curfew. The only thing Karasi does fear is getting caught kissing her girlfriend, as being a lesbian is illegal in Kenya. When a sacred lion cub-the source of Karasi's magic-is stolen by a poaching syndicate influenced by the demonic serpent Kifonyoka, it endangers the natural balance. However, before Karasi can rescue it, her father, a tribal man who neither believes in the gods nor their magic, ships her off to live in Washington D.C. Although her magic draining away, Karasi will fight for what she views as her birthright. With the support of her gods, Karasi must outwit Kifonyoka and his deadly disciples to rescue the cub. Or else Karasi would lose her magic, her mother's legacy, and the love of the girl of her dreams.

This book is a compilation of short stories that depict the lives of black people who have in one way or the other been affected by racism and police brutality and it was inspired by stories of people who have actually experienced the aforementioned. Read to go on a rollercoaster of emotions

Nursery Rhymes rewritten for our Covid times. Mostly light hearted but often satirical or with a point to make. Some of these were originally posted in Third Verse but by 'popular demand' are getting a volume to themselves.

Huey and Riley Freeman are back in a low-key, stylised reboot of the original show, on your wattpad! It's been a year or so since Robert Freeman died. The boys' only legal guardian has left them behind in a white dominated district. But Huey and Riley got those strings, and they pull them. They find themselves in an apartment in a nice view right on the edge of Woodcrest, a mix between "boujee" and "ghetto". They take care of themselves, as well as they can. After all, Huey is almost 15 years old now, and Riley is 13. However, one day, they are sent a notice threatening an investigation and fine unless they don't attend school after summer vacation. So they attend the school, and damn -- that place needs some Riley and Huey Freeman. Whether it be... Riley's "menacing" influence, or Huey's "cynical" one. Please enjoy my story, a social commentary with a similar satrical twist, based around the original series. Only, it has more of a youthful, modern yet authentic flair to it. They learn from their mistakes, and damn right make sure to fix the ones around them.

This piece is a personal memorial and testimony about Romeo, a 22-year-old Black man whose life was taken by police violence. Told through the voice of a cousin who loved him deeply, it traces Romeo's life beyond stereotypes-his childhood shaped by loss and survival, his love for music, his dreams of freedom, and the quiet dignity he carried despite constant judgment. The story exposes the everyday racism that followed him, the system that failed to protect him, and the devastating final moments that ended his life unjustly. Above all, it honors Romeo as a son, a dreamer, and an old soul taken far too soon, calling for remembrance, truth, and justice.
