They call her Trouble. Locked behind prison walls, A'Leiaa Onyxx Creed rules a place that was built to break people like her-but she never learned how to break. In here, she's feared. Outside, she was something else entirely. But every name has a beginning... and every empire has a fall. Before the bars. Before the silence. Before she became Trouble. There was a life she doesn't talk about anymore. And someone from that life still lingers in her past... a name she refuses to say out loud, but never forgets. And a story that made sure she never looked at love the same again.

What would you do if all the lines that once made up and bordered your life became blurred from existence? What would you do if one day you realized the pencil marks that once surrounded you are falling apart, and you are not sure whether to pull them back together, or let them be erased completely from your life and maybe, make you free? You don't know, do you? Well, I didn't know either... ~Kuyi ============= Kuyi and Christian are on a path_with lots of bumps and unexpected turns_ of self discovery, forgiveness and letting go of the past...no matter how ugly it may seem. Would they take the foolish choice and continue to trudge on, or would they be wise and remain under the shells they once were? ============== Those that have read my vampire novel, Captured, would definitely notice the parallelism in the two books, but it's actually intentional because Captured was the book that gave birth to this one. I decided I should spin Captured into a non vampire, African based novel, and that's why I'm writing this book. But don't worry, the books aren't exactly all the same, so please don't let that stop you from giving this one a chance, and reading it. Xoxo :-) ============ All rights reserved. This book is completely a work of fiction, spewed out of the wild and very unsettled imagination of the writer, no part of it should be reproduced or rewritten in any form without the prior notice and approval of the writer, which is me. Any resemblance to real life events or other books is highly coincidental. Thank you.

l'm a black woman who is proud to have melanin flowing through her veins. The purpose of this book is not to scream that black lives matter, which they do but rather I'm here to educate black women on their true identity and worth. Here is a compilation of energetic, black-spirited poems and writings from black authors to our often forgotten black readers. Sip your chocolate and let these words color your mind. Literally.

"See, the thing about the streets? They don't love nobody. You either make it out or you get buried in it. Ain't no in-between." In the heart of Compton, where gang wars and fast money run the block, a young hustler gets caught between survival and ambition. He never wanted this life-he had dreams, plans, a way out. But when bills pile up and the streets start whispering his name, the choice ain't his no more. At first, it's just about the money. A couple of deals to keep the lights on, to put food on the table. But the streets? They don't let you dabble. One move turns into another. One favor leads to a debt. And before he knows it, he's in too deep. A name. A rep. A body on the pavement. Now, he ain't just another kid trying to make it. Now, he's a player. And in this game, you either rise to the top or get put six feet under. C.R.I.P. (Cash Rules in Power) is the untold story of a young hustler's rise from the trenches to the throne. The money, the power, the love, and the loss-it all comes with a price. The only question is, will he make it out before the streets take everything from him?

"Why on earth are you so white?" The tall boy asked me, standing right in front of me this time. I looked up and glared at him, while he studied me with skeptical eyes. Eyes of a snake watching its predator to assess how dangerous it was. What a pest! I thought I had already sent him away for good before, he just had to come back. "Because that is my colour inaan" I hissed. "Why are you so black?" I mimicked his own question back to him, but he did not seem to catch my insult. "Because that is the colour of everyone here, you..." He pointed a curious finger at me. "...have no colour" (Inaan: stupid) ~~~~~~ So yes, this book may look like a novel on justice and inequality, all that necessary but boring stuff, but it is actually not as simple as that. True, from the cover you can tell I'm trying to promote justice and show the world that we can all live in harmony together, no matter what color we are, if only we just try. But not in a way that you would expect, this is...different, but I bet you would like it. ;) ~~~~~~ This is a story of a white skinned, British, five year old girl, who somehow found herself surrounded by dark skinned Africans. ~~~~~~ Most impressive rankings #6 in wattnigeria out of 71 stories #8 in nigerianteen out of 27 stories #13 in entertaining out of 1.35k stories #27 in equality out of 3.06k stories ~~~~~~~ All rights reserved. I felt a hand brush my thigh, pulling me out of my dazed state. I looked at the handsome boy and instantly recognized him; he was that Larken boy. The one Papa said to stay away from. But there was something about him that made me want to stay closer to him. "You're Will's daughter, aren't you?" He asked. I nodded, unable to find my voice. "Ya know, he told me to stay away from you. But." He ran his tongue over his lower lip, moving closer to me. "There's just something about you that makes doing that harder." I swallowed tightly, looking into his blue eyes. They were like a crystal pond, still and perfect. "He told me to do the same." I said, loud enough for him to hear. "Are you going to?" He asked, moving between my legs. "He's my father. I have to." I said, looking away from his mesmerizing eyes. The boy cupped my cheek, making me look into his gaze again. "No, you don't." He murmured. "It's a good thing to rebel once in a while." "What's your name?" I asked. "Emmett Larken." He said, smirking. "And yours, baby doll?" I opened my mouth to reply but Shawn cut in before I had the chance. * * * Eleanor Beal-Stevens always had a passion for the arts: singing, dancing, painting, drawing, and playing instruments. Her family wasn't a conventional one, but she loved them none the less. She was the product of an affair while her parents were still in their performing arts school, and her parents ended up marrying different people, that loved her like their own daughter. Emmett Larken was the bad boy no one liked, except all the girls he was with. A new girl on his arm everyday and his pack of friends around him, he never heard the word 'no' before. Then he met Eleanor, the one girl who he could never have because of her father. Will they be able to overcome their obstacles? All rights reserved Jane Dugan 2014

[Poem] They say black is the absence of colors, but I say black is beautiful even without all the colors. To be born with a race is not what we decide on and it is not something we should worry about. However, in this world we live in, it is worrisome to many - yellow, white, orange and black. Love is all we need for the entire human race. Love is what we should be spreading instead of negativity. Black lives matter, but it is best if all lives matter. -------------------------------------- This is a poem to empower not only the Black Community but also everyone in the world specifically in this virtual world during this pandemic. Let us give love and not hate. Words and terms used are not intended as racism.
