"He wants my son to study abroad, after his secondary school" Anita let out a heavy sigh "Well that's a good thing right?, You can afford that if he helps, you know Dean going to one of the biggest schools" Jerry smirked " Wait! He's rich right?" " Stinkingly!!. But that is not my fear baby, I want to be the one saying that to my son,I mean I raised him to this level" "Anita ,... please make it clear to me" Jerry sighed "Okay Him telling Dean, 'hey son... am your Goddam father', my Dean will hate me, especially when he realises he is the illegitimate one...I would fail my own son"Anita frowned "Okay Anita, let me get this straight,the old man wants to meet his son?".......

In January 2020, I lost my father in a traumatic way as he passed while I was performing CPR. As a way to cope, I started to journal. My journal entries quickly turned to poetry, a form of writing that I had no experience in. Over time, my poems have evolved to be about more than my father. I'll start to share them in this book. I believe the works in here are a collaboration between my father and I. Rest in peace SBR. I love you and hope you enjoy this book as much as I enjoy the comfort I get from writing these poems

she wasn't always like this. there was a time when Storm was a bright little girl with real dreams. dreams that seemed accomplishable and glorious. those were encouragements her daddy used to give her late at nights before bed. he still gave her that tiny glimmer of hope, just through the specialized laminate material of the prison glass windows. Storm changed her name when she joined her gang. she didn't want to be Bellona. not only was it a ridiculous name it was not who she was. Bellona no longer existed, only Stormi. Bellona was a naive child whose reality of the world quickly changed growing up a Black girl. Bellona once believed the world was just and fair until it proved her wrong.. ultimately hardening her heart. now Stormi, that was a warrior. her fierceness was worshipped by nearly all of the Bronx. they knew a real one when they saw it. her pain was hidden very deeply, almost unattainable beneath a facade of emptiness. but of course, the wall will eventually be broken down. the cause of it? two friends of different but also not so different backgrounds. there is practically no actual representation of black culture on Wattpad. we aren't just a culture. or a statistic. once, this world was ruled by wealthy Black kings and queens. what happened? colonization and immoral conquering. but now? we're still royalty. we're human. we're Black with real actual stories and real problems we face worldwide, institutionalized, and in our own communities.

I know there's many rant books similar to this, but I wanted to join the bandwagon. Plus I think I have a lot to rant about. So get ready to talk about controversial and relatable things.
