My name is Maka. I'm a second year student with my partner Soul. My cousin Anna and her scythe weapon KJ moved in with us so we got a bigger apartment. Living life at the Academy is okay. I can't wait for vacation to start or to go on some missions outside of the country.

They've always tried to protect each other in battle. One more than the other most of the time. But how could you blame him? It is his job after all, being a weapon. Maka loves Soul with all her heart. She has put her trust in him since they began as partners 5 years ago. Now that their missions are over for temporarily, the students can enjoy their school life with continued training. But when something unexpected happens to Maka, she has to struggle through it. Soul and the rest of the gang stay strong with her. But will she survive?
