"You son of a bitch!" I scream through the phone, gripping it as tightly as I could. My knuckles turn white and my palms become sweaty. "Give me my girl back! I'll kill you, you crazy motherfucker!! That's a promise not a threat!!" I screamed more, holding the speaker closer to my mouth. My face was red with furry. I can't believe Charlie was gone. Ashley has been torn to pieces, and so has the rest of the band. One minute she was standing off stage and the next she was gone. There was a hand written note with a phone number on it where she was last seen. I called the number and the voice of an older guy spoke to me. "So, you must be Andy. This is how this will work out. Each day you waste, she'll get hurt. You have 3 weeks to find her, and if time runs up, well." He began to laugh a cold, sinister laugh. "You won't see her ever again." He hung up the phone and I called back, leaving him a voicemail. I adopted Charlie 2 years ago when Juliet and I got married. Juliet wanted a broken child, she wanted to fix Charlie. She fell in love with her as soon as we met her, and the bond my wife and daughter has created was beautiful. She is only 17 years old, she has a full life ahead of her. My little girl can't leave me. Not now. Not ever, I love her.
