Noelle was doing her best to navigate the crowd while avoiding her siblings' glares. ‎ ‎​She scanned the room, frowning as she realized someone was missing. "Did someone see Serene?" she asked, her voice cutting through the noise. ‎ ‎​A few nearby Magic Knights turned, looking confused. But the group who had gone on the dungeon mission with them, the ones who actually knew what to expect from her just went quiet. ‎ ‎​A collective, awkward sweatdrop broke out across their faces. Asta and Yuno, who had spent their entire lives dragging Serene around because she'd fall asleep while walking, exchanged a tired look. They knew exactly where she would be. ‎​"What?" Leopold Vermillion asked, wandering over, his eyes wide as he looked under the long, draped dining table. He pointed a finger at the floor, looking genuinely baffled. "Why is there a sleeping person under the table?" ‎ ‎​Sure enough, tucked away in the shadows beneath the tablecloth, Serene was curled up on the cold floor, fast asleep as if she were in her own bed at the church.
