Through raw emotion, bold questions, and intimate storytelling, my poetry reflects the journey of a Black girl fighting to be understood, healed, and whole. These poems are born from pain, purpose, and faith. They speak on what it's like to carry the weight of silence, to be misunderstood for simply existing, and to grow up feeling like you had to be strong before you even got the chance to just be. Each piece holds truth-whether I'm questioning the world's unfair labels in "QUESTION", reclaiming my story in "The Author of My Own Destiny", or softly revealing how deeply God has held me together in "This Isn't Just Another Poem", and more to come! This collection isn't just poetry. It's survival. It's healing. It's what happens when a girl turns her scars into sentences and her faith into fire. - Written by Jae Storm A name born from the chaos and calm within me-because even when life feels like a storm, I still write with power, purpose, and peace.
