"The lines we draw to protect ourselves often become the walls that imprison us." [OUR WORLD] 🌸A Nigerian Teen Fiction🌸 16+ [BOOK THREE OF YUNG LIES SERIES] In our world, we're quick to judge people, not knowing what they've been through or who they really are. And often, the ones who judge the loudest are fighting their own battles in silence. Kester's cold and unapproachable demeanor mask a deep-seated pain, while Yasmine's polished facade conceals a suffocating relationship with Zayn Lawal, the school's golden boy and teen star. As Kester's tutor, Yasmine is tasked with helping him salvage his grades by the end of the academic session, but beneath Kester's tough exterior and academic struggles, Yasmine discovers a complex and broken soul that challenges her perceptions. She realizes she doesn't want to let Kester go, not because he's perfect, but because he's imperfectly real. She becomes torn between her loyalty to Zayn and her growing connection to her troubled student. However, when Zayn discovers that Yasmine is tutoring his arch-nemesis, Kester Martinez "the multiracial goat", he's furious. Their relationship becomes increasingly strained, and Yasmine finally finds the courage to leave him. But Zayn's not willing to let go, and this becomes a problem. This is a tale of self-discovery, relationships, and growth, set against the backdrop of Nigerian high school life. Explore the complexities of teenage life, where appearances often hide deeper truths. ONLY AVAILABLE ON MY WATTPAD ACCOUNT. This work is to educate those who want to be educated. To Be Educated is a series of essays that strive to spread awareness of the Black Lives Movement and the recent events happening in 2020 America after the death of George Floyd. When you read this work, you will learn about the state of America from a non-political perspective. Topics will include racism, police brutality, white supremacy, and many other topics. Resources will also be provided to help support the BLM movement if you're unable to protest due to Covid-19 or fear of persecution. I will also include spaces at the end of each essay to open for discussion between the readers as well as safe spaces for readers to share their grievances and beliefs. _____ My platform had always focused on spreading awareness of bullying. I believe it is my civic duty to use my platform and my writing to give the black community a voice. I'm not a member of the black community. I'm a person of color, an immigrant, low-income, a first-generation college student. I'm passionate about history and social justice. This work is a contribution to the black community, my black readers, and to any of my readers who wish to learn more about the movement and show their support. Thank you and be safe.

This piece is a personal memorial and testimony about Romeo, a 22-year-old Black man whose life was taken by police violence. Told through the voice of a cousin who loved him deeply, it traces Romeo's life beyond stereotypes-his childhood shaped by loss and survival, his love for music, his dreams of freedom, and the quiet dignity he carried despite constant judgment. The story exposes the everyday racism that followed him, the system that failed to protect him, and the devastating final moments that ended his life unjustly. Above all, it honors Romeo as a son, a dreamer, and an old soul taken far too soon, calling for remembrance, truth, and justice.

:: One-shot story 💭 Friday, March 24, 1944, little Stinney came home from school and brought his 9-year-old sister, Aime Lou, to the fields to exploit and graze their cow, Lizzy. The field was located between the houses and also near the railroad tracks that is separating the black and white communities of Alcolu, this area can be also caught from the Stinney's house. During the duties of the child with his sister, two girls named Betty June Binnicker, age 11, and Mary Emma Thames, age 7 were pushing bicycles near Stinney and his sister. When these young girls got nigh the siblings, they asked George and his sister if they knew where the Maypop flowers were, but the Stinneys told them they didn't know where to seek out the flowers, and so without further ado, the girls left after their brief communication. Later that time, Aime Lou Stinney Ruffner recounted that it was absolutely strange to see white girls in their area because Caucasoid or white race usually didn't venture to the black side of town. What trouble would Stinney Jr. and his family awaken thereafter that time?
