"Together... bound by blood." It's only been a year since the ceremony. Stephanie is a newly turned vampire, only being 16 years old. She is instructed by her clan to find more young humans to turn, and she returns to her old high school after having her memories wiped. Conveniently, this is when a new kid comes to school. [Note: the reader is referred to with both gender neutral and female pronouns, but it is a major plot point that the reader is NOT a man.
