Jake Erikson, and Lance Gallows are two best friends who were both adopted into a secret order known as the Saint Shields, an order dedicated to the protection of mankind against all types of supernatural beings. Lately in Los Angeles more and more people have been disappearing leaving traces of vampire activity. Jake and Lance are assigned to investigate the mass of attacks, and meet new friends along the way. But soon find themselves being stalked by a mysterious new stranger who seems to know too much about the Saints. Trying to survive this stranger's deadly mind games Jake and Lance discover that an ancient and violent figure from the Saint Shield's past believed to be dead reappears and shows an obsession with Jake. Now being toyed with by this dark figure Jake must figure out what he wants, and if he's truly only after revenge.
