Czternastoletni Michał każdego lata wraca do swojej rodzinnej miejscowości. Na jej skraju, po drugiej stronie rzeki, znajduje się wyspa - niewielka, porośnięta starymi drzewami, cicha i odizolowana od świata. To tam chłopak znajduje spokój, którego nie potrafi odnaleźć nigdzie indziej. Dojeżdża na nią rowerem, zwykle sam, uciekając od hałasu, ludzi i własnych myśli. Jednak wyspa nie jest tylko bezpiecznym schronieniem. W czasie jednej z samotnych wypraw Michał odkrywa coś, co zmienia jego sposób patrzenia na to miejsce: ślady czyjejś obecności, stary, rozpadający się szałas oraz niepokojącą siłę natury - drzewa, które podczas wiatru kołyszą się niebezpiecznie, jakby mogły w każdej chwili runąć. Od tego momentu wyspa przestaje być wyłącznie miejscem spokoju, a staje się zagadką. Chłopak postanawia ją rozwiązać. „Wyspa" to opowieść o dorastaniu, samotności i potrzebie zrozumienia świata wtedy, gdy wszystko zaczyna się zmieniać. To historia o miejscu, które koi myśli, ale jednocześnie wystawia na próbę odwagę. O przyjaźni, która rodzi się w ciszy, o strachu przed utratą tego, co daje poczucie bezpieczeństwa, i o decyzjach, które kształtują nas na całe życie. To książka o chwili, w której dzieciństwo powoli ustępuje miejsca dorosłości - i o jednej wyspie, na której wszystko to się zaczyna.

Two years had passed since the Squip incident, and everything seemed to be going fine for Michael Mell. He was at a normal college party, drunk young adults everywhere. Jared Kleinman was at this party as well, and he was getting something to drink when he was pulled into a circle of truth or dare by Madeline, and Michael was pulled in by Doug. Since they were practically the only people that looked somewhat sober, and very uncomfortable, Jared planned their escape. Madeline dared Jared to pick the cutest boy in the room to play Seven Minutes in Heaven, so, Jared picked Michael. Though they didn't know each other, they decided to escape together, and hangout at Jared's dorm. You'll have to read to find out the rest~ Hey! I hope you all like the story!!
