Just finished Holmes Is Missing by James Patterson & Brian Sitts, and I have questions. Why call it "Holmes Is Missing" when he's barely gone? Bleak plot, uneven pacing, characters I couldn't connect with. 3 stars. Read book one first or you'll be lost. Full review on the blog.

Every reader walks away from a book with a different story. This is not a summary of Gunahon Ka Devta, nor an attempt to explain its "true" meaning. These pages contain my personal reflections on its characters, emotions, and the questions the novel left behind. You may agree with my thoughts, disagree with them, or discover something I completely missed and that's the beauty of literature. Welcome to my perspective as a reader.

Writing down the list of books that I've read in 2026 so that I can also keep track of which series I need an update on because GoodReads don't have the capability yet to ping when a followed Author has a new book coming up. Since I frequent here, might as well. And also to remind me how I feel about the book so that it can help me decide if I really need to get the book immediately on release day lol!

Everyone told me I'd love Legends and Lattes. An orc, a coffee shop, a found family, all the right ingredients. But somehow it never quite brewed for me. Author-narrated audiobooks might be my new favorite thing though. Full review (and why I'm stepping back from the series) up on the blog now.

I read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (for the fourth time)

Adversary to the Villain is here, and Evie and Trystan are back mid-prophecy, mid-treason, and mid-romance (a lot of mid-romance). Great plot, great magic system, but the comedic timing might drive you up the wall. My honest take on book 4 of Assistant to the Villain is up on Views She Writes now.

So I was scrolling through wattpad looking for books and I stumbled upon a something that was supposed to give book recommendations for this genre, so naturally I thought PERFECT! I clicked on it only to see that I had actually read, all but a singular book they said. They claimed to be OBSESSED with every single one and that EVERY BOOK WAS THEIR FAVORITE.(I actually didn't like two of them personally). So I figured hey, I've been on this app for a longggg time maybe I could try? But, instead of pure recommendations I could give you my thoughts so you could develop your own opinions because you know one mans trash is another mans treasure right?
