But when grief knocks twice in quick succession, Ronnie finds herself adrift. Until a stranger walks through her door - the brother of the person she loved most in the world. The boy she never stopped thinking about. The one who vanished all those years ago without a word. He's different now - quieter, rougher around the edges - but the pull between them hasn't faded. and as letters begin to appear and old stories unravel, Ronnie realises the truth isn't just about what happened all those years ago. Its about what was kept hidden. They say time heals all wounds. But some connections were never meant to be broken. She's shy. He's cocky. She hates his smirk, and he loves pushing her buttons. Emilia Torres has always kept her head down-working shifts to pay rent, avoiding drama, and steering clear of Cole Kingston, the arrogant rich-boy hockey star who thrives on attention. He's everything she despises: loud, privileged, and infuriatingly gorgeous. Cole has never understood why the quiet brunette glares at him like he's the plague. Teasing her is his favorite sport-until one night changes everything. When Emilia gets drunk for the very first time, she does the unthinkable-grabs Cole by the collar and kisses him just to shut him up. It's supposed to mean nothing. A drunken mistake. A way to silence his endless cocky remarks. But that kiss lights a fuse neither of them can put out. Now, every smirk feels like a dare. Every fight feels like foreplay. And every touch threatens to destroy the walls Emilia has spent years building. He's the golden boy with everything to lose. She's the poor girl with nothing left to risk. And one reckless kiss just rewrote their rules. This isn't a game anymore. It's obsession. Warning: This book contains explicit language, filthy banter, heated locker room tension, one cocky hockey player who doesn't know how to shut up, and one shy girl who learns exactly how to shut him up. 21+ only.

History Some people become memories. Others become the story you can never escape. Layton has spent years learning how to protect herself, keep her guard up, and avoid the kind of people who bring chaos into her life. Then there's Parker - the person who knows exactly how to get under her skin, challenge her, and somehow make her feel things she never wanted to admit. What starts as tension, arguments, and a battle of wills slowly becomes something neither of them saw coming. But when the past comes back to haunt them and old wounds begin to surface, they're forced to face the truth: some connections don't disappear, no matter how hard you try to forget them. Between growing up, finding themselves, and figuring out what they truly want, Layton and Parker must decide whether their history is something that will break them apart - or the very thing that brings them together. History is a slow-burn romance about love, mistakes, forgiveness, and the people who leave a mark on your life long after you thought they were gone.

In this novel, I try to lead the reader into an engaging account of a life lived, with an abundance and precision of episodes and experiences etched in my memory. Mine is a journey into a bucolic landscape and environment, which have marked me throughout my life. It is the experience and fortune of those who, like me, found themselves living through the period of transition from the life of the fields, made by toil and sweat of the hands, to mechanization and modernization. To make this journey backwards in my biography fascinating, there is then a succession of affections, of loved ones, of figures all peculiar in character and attitudes. The novel is, so to speak, a story within a story. Characters: za F'lumena, the grandmother with the strong character, the volcano always ready to explode, my father, Aunt Paola, Aunt Lina, Uncle Ferdinando, Uncle Armando, the barber-accordionist, the forester, the baker, the hairdresser, the old vintner (who at first presents himself as illiterate, but...), the traffic cop, the massaro (farmer) Luigi, who teaches me how to ride a horse, and his wife Carmela, an excellent cook, and Cerasella, grandmother's donkey. With Foxes Hill, I offer the reader a chance to open the treasure chest of life's memory, and to relive it. Childhood memories remain indelible in everyone's memory, and it applies to everyone. In this autobiographical account, through an exposition that is as simple and straightforward as ever from the point of view of expression, I recount my real experiences as a boy of just seven years old, who, alone and aboard regular buses (as many as three, for barely a hundred kilometers), in the hot summer of 1955
