Zelda and Link have defeated Calamity Ganon and are now free to go their own way. However, it is hard to get to grips with their past, which can get in the way of their present. And as if that isn't hard enough, there seems to be a new threat that they will need to face. **This story takes place directly after Breath of the Wild and has no link to Tears of the Kingdom. Don't forget to check out the sequel: Noble by Nature!

This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. Any feedback is appreciated, as well. (Story) 100 years after the tragedy that was the Great Calamity, Hyrule has finally seemed to have regained its footing. However, the seal on Calamity Ganon seems to be weakening, threatening to break any day now. Fortunately for Hyrule, a hero who has been thought long dead finally returns from a long slumber. That hero is Link. After sleeping for 100 years, Link seems to have lost all of his memories, especially the memories of his failure to protect those that he loved. of course, All rights to any known part of the game go to Nintendo please Nintendo, do not strike me down before I finish this series.

A century has passed since the Great Calamity and 3 years since the defeat of Bowser, and Hyrule is slowly healing under Queen Zelda's guiding light. Yet even as peace begins to take root, the scars of war run deep - and a new shadow stirs beyond the ruins. When a mysterious cult devoted to the forgotten seer Astor emerges from the ashes, the fragile balance of Hyrule begins to crumble once more. Zelda Runs Away AU - Before the Calamity, Zelda escapes the castle to avoid her destiny. Link is sent to retrieve her... and ends up joining her.

After years of discipline, sacrifice, and relentless growth, he finally earns his place among Hyrule's elite knights. But his promotion ceremony becomes more than just a formal rite of passage. In the presence of Princess Zelda, the atmosphere of the castle shifts-turning a moment of duty into something quietly personal and emotionally charged. As celebration follows ceremony, the protagonist is left questioning what is real, what is imagined, and what it means to serve a kingdom... when the Princess herself seems to see him.

Link and Zelda's way back to Hateno after defeating Ganon is interrumpted by a small girl that does not belong to their world. As Zelda tries to bring Hyrule to it's former glory, Link will protect his new friend from a world she's ignorant about so she can accomplish her own mission: end the eternal slumber of her village. Description: A fan-made retelling of Breath of the Wild with one key twist: "What would have happened if Hyrule fell in Age of Calamity's Timeline?" This is the story for the Breath of the Wild mod called Era of Heroes, which will (hopefully) become a reality in a couple of years. This story is mine but the characters from the Legend of Zelda and the game itself is owned by Nintendo. The book cover is also not mine and belongs to another artist, but I may eventually draw my own to go with it.

If you read King Rhoam, Princess Zelda, or Lady Urbosa's diaries, they mention a Queen. The Queen of Hyrule, but's is also known as Zeldas mother. The Queen knew that her daughter had her blood, also known as the goddesses blood. She was supposed to help her on summoning it. However, a turning point came of where she passed away suddenly.
