hi gang uhhh this story is very old and very bad i see yall adding it to lists and whatnot . first of all i have no idea why this has as many reads as it does but ! like i promise you it is not good . its five years old i was so young when i wrote this it is not good . if you really want to read it go ahead but it is not at all an accurate reflection of my skill or literally anything about me . i check this site periodically and this story somehow always has something going on . okay im rambling but moral of the story is that if you read this and dont like it i know . i know it sucks and im sorry . if you read it and end up liking it i dont really know what to say but im glad i could help . love u besties . ---------- Alex has been in the tower for years. His father locked him in there long ago, though Alex can't remember why. Now, instead of the prince saving the princess, the princess needs to save the prince. Claire may look like a princess, but she sure doesn't act like one. She refuses to wear dresses, takes defensive martial arts, and -- however unimaginable it is -- hates reading. Long ago, the Beasts left the lands of men, and with them, an untold amount of knowledge was lost. The country of Rhaja blamed its neighbour, Alsidia, for treating the Beasts too well. Alsidia insisted the Beasts fled because Rhaja was hunting them. Thesalia knows what it is to be hunted. She has spent her whole life hiding from Rhajan Witch Hunters, fearing her safety even in her own home. So when her coven is handed a mission to kidnap the Rhajan Prince and put him to death, there was no hesitation. Jas cannot stomach life at court. He has spent his whole life avoiding meetings he does not agree with, instead breaking the one law no Rhajan should ever break: he frees slaves, seeing them safely back to Alsidia. When a rumour is spread that he knows the location of the Beasts' Haven, his life becomes much more dangerous than he ever expected. When Thesalia and Jas are thrust into a whirlwind of danger, adventure and hope, they can only do one of two things: continue on as sworn enemies, or acknowledge that they are meant for something much more.
