Two Years Older
July 2025.
The outskirts of Chennai.
An evening suspended between rain and silence.
Dark clouds gathered above the forests, heavy enough to burst, yet unwilling to let go. The wind carried the scent of wet earth long before the first drop had fallen.
On either side of the road stood endless stretches of green.
Forests.
Small hills.
Trees bending gently beneath the weight of the approaching storm.
Somewhere beyond the canopy, a peacock flew across the darkening sky.
The road itself remained nearly empty.
A black ribbon cutting through the wilderness.
And on that road, a yellow college bus moved steadily towards the city.
Inside it, dozens of stories existed without knowing one another.
Some slept.
Some laughed.
Some stared at their phones.
One soul sat by the window, watching the forests rush past.
Another stood a few rows behind, too busy planning his next move in a card game to notice that his life was about to change.
Neither knew the other existed.
Neither knew that a single evening would become a memory they would carry for years.
Neither knew that the road ahead would be filled with rain-soaked journeys, unspoken feelings, borrowed happiness, impossible choices, and a love neither of them had been looking for.
After all
Some stories don't begin with a confession.
Some don't begin with destiny.
Some don't even begin with love.
Sometimes, all it takes is a sudden brake.
And two people who were never supposed to matter to each other.
This is the story of them.
A story about healing, longing, growing up, and discovering that sometimes the person who feels most like home is the one life refuses to let you keep.
Krishna never planned to fall for his senior.
Radha never planned to let anyone close again.
Yet with every conversation, every shared silence, every stolen moment, the line between friendship and something deeper began to blur.
She was Two Years Older than him , reason enough to seperate them even more ; But What if Destiny had other plans?
