Torchwood is taken over by Yvonne Hartman and although Pete tries to protect Rose Tyler, she orders an enquiry into where Rose came from as he has convinced everyone else that Jackie is the original one. Rose has been harder to explain and to avoid being imprisoned he sends her off to Broadchurch to Alec Hardy, who is hiding the fact he's the Doctor's twin so no-one can find her.

Jack is on his usual adventure of hunting aliens, yet his journey brings him to Broadchurch where he witnesses the murder case of Danny Latimer begin. He feels the pain of death as he is discovered by D.I. Alec Hardy and D.S. Ellie Miller. Explaining what he is and what he's there for may just be a case itself.

Okay, so this actually isn't my first fanfic! I've been writing for quite some time, but never has the courage to publish anything :) Well, here I am, with one of the hundreds of stories I have already written! Alec Hardy has been struggling with a heart condition known as Heart Arrhythmia, Miller found out about the condition when Hardy nearly died during a police chase, now he's being threatened with losing his job, the career that he loves so dearly, and very soon, his life. One night when Miller and Hardy are going to another suspects hideaway in search of a collar, Alec is hit with another episode, what will Ellie do?

It was 2013 on Pete's world. Rose Tyler had gone to Broadchurch for a short holiday and fallen in love with Alec Hardy. Pete establishes a local branch of Torchwood for her to help Alec with the Danny Latimer case but just as it is coming to an end, Rose and Alec have to cross over to Rose's original world to help the Doctor and his companions stop the stars going out. A/N: The story will not concentrate much on the Latimer case but on the events of 'The Stolen Earth/Journey's End as the action switches from Broadchurch in the AU to Rose's original world to re-unite her with The Doctor and his companions and has a twist in the tale.

Rose has to attend a conference about the disappearance of the Cybermen just weeks after she says goodbye to The Doctor at Bad Wolf Bay. She meets Alec Hardy and decides to go live in Glasgow with him. This is their story of how they end up living in Broadchurch. Set in the AU.

So I have seen a LOT of terrible fanfiction around on the internet, and a lot of good stuff as well! Here are some tips and pointers on how to write good fanfiction.
