Quit her successful career for reasons she can't remember... Check. Run a pawnshop that makes very little money off of people's old stuff... Check. Illegally sell memories of other people out of the backroom... Check. Try to stop her former work partner from finding out... Maeve has been struggling to keep her head above the water along with the people who sell her stuff for a little extra cash. It doesn't help that the more she gets to know them, the more she feels like she has to help them. From Mr. Pendells, the schoolteacher struggling to buy books for his students, to Mrs. Miles, the pregnant wife who holds her secrets even closer than Mae does. The bubble that she has been living in pops with the arrival of Finley, her old partner from the Department of Memory Acquisition, at the pawnshop. He comes with a vague proposition that the DMA needs help that only she can give. But she realizes with his return that she doesn't remember what caused her resignation from the Department to begin with and that her illegal memory dealing may be the least of her concerns. To the man who broke me again...

They loved each other, everyone knew that. Did they know each other though? In this perfect idea of love a lot lay underneath. What they wanted and what they knew grew different from each other and as that grew so did the distance between these two star crossed lovers.

Short thoughts of a heart that broke in pieces.

Nothing is more heart wrenching when you're holding a reflector of someone's life in your hands and read them crumbling to pieces just infront of you while at that time you were unaware of the broken pieces around you . I found this diary while cleaning my mother's wardrobe . She is dead.
