A "10-13" (Officer Needs Assistance) alert pings in a sector of the Queens Crime Lab that doesn't exist on the blueprints. He follows the GPS on his department-issued smartphone to a utility closet. Inside, the phone's camera auto-activates, revealing a "ghost" of himself from five minutes in the future, frantically trying to warn him that the "ballistics" they are measuring aren't from guns, but from something much faster and sinister.
