This story is about a 16 year old boy named Utah he moved to a news place called Astoria Oregon and he didn't have any friends but luckily enough he made two friends named Mav and Shawn. And one day when he was looking in the Attic he finds a katana with weird markings on it for some reason he feels very drawn to the sword like it belongs to him so he told his dad about it and his dad told him that the sword was passed down from generation from generation and no one was able to unshave the sword. And then one Halloween he was wearing his samurai costume but forgot to buy a plastic sword to use for his costume so he goes up into the attic and takes the sword and puts it on his costume and then later that night he finds out that he can unshave the sword. And then a few months later he's walking nearby the beach and sees the cave that he feels very drawn to eventually a few nights later he can't fight the urge to go see what's inside so he grabs a flashlight, a walkman, and a video camera and starts heading to his friends house.
