The series ended abruptly. Not all of us were satisfied. As a #byler4life , I definitely wasn't. So here's a post-s5 story. Everything is back to as it was 5 years ago, before November 6th, 1983. Hawkins, the places, the people, have all, almost healed. For the people of Hawkins, it was just a 'Natural Calamity', but we all know what it was. The only thing that remains are the memories, and their shared trauma. Along with healing, many more emotions from THE HEART come to light. We are gonna go further beyond their graduation. Will we finally get what we wanted? Or do we have to go on many more adventures before finally getting there? STAY TUNED TO FIND OUT.

Re-write/fix-it fic of sorts, for Stranger Things (Mike/Will -centric) Starts at the end of season 3, when the Byers' have just moved out. Mike's POV, what he got up to (in my mind), for those months in between season 3 and season 4. I'm planning on keeping the basic structure of s4 there but just altering the scenes that included Will and Mike. Not touching other plotlines as much. *Not sure of the exact date of the Byer's move, Stranger Things wiki would state they were living in Lenora from Oct '85 - March '86. I would just gather that the school year or semester would start earlier than October. will byers has always been in love with mike wheeler. maybe even a bit *too* in love.. mike is the same, yet he refuses to admit it. the letters they send to each other play with feelings on both ends.

In1988, Will Byers gets a place in an university he had always been dreaming of, Yale. There he finds out he shares a dorm with a boy named Mike wheeler. They become good friends. Soon Will realizes that his feelings for Mike are getting deeper, the same way they did before with other guys too. Will tries so hard to ignore those feelings, like he always did. But soon they are too much and he realizes that with Mike he feels different type of feelings than with the boys in his high school. Will he tell Mike about these feelings and how will the other boy react?

Mike is having a sleepover at Will's after an intense night of their games. Lucas, Dustin, and Max already went home. El is sleeping in Nancy's room, he struggles to fall back asleep, Will puts him to ease.
