Adora and Catra grew up in the same orphanage, but then at the age of 10 Adora got adopted by one of her and Catra's teachers, Sharon Weaver. Adora tried to keep in contact with Catra after she got adopted, but Catra never responded to any of her letters. eventually she stopped trying (much to Sharon Weavers delight). then eventually Sharon Weaver decides that Adora will attend a boarding school called "Brightmoon Academy" instead of the high school that she has been attending. at Brightmoon she runs into someone she hasn't seen or heard from in years... I'm sorry to say but this work has officially been discontinued. My reasoning is that I was a much different person when I started to write this back in 2020. If I were to pick it up again now, 5 years later, I have no idea how I would even go about it.
