Tim Bradford is a 30 year old male. He works at the LAPD. He is very tough and mean but has a soft spot for the people he cares about. His friends are Angela Lopez and Nyla Harper. Lucy Chen is a 22 year old female. She has the most kindest soul. She is very kind and her best friends are Jackson West and Tamara Colins.

Lucy Chen is a 40-year-old doctor. She is one of the best surgeons. Every patient immediately falls in love with her. Every child she treats draws her a picture. There is no one who does not like her and thank her for saving their life. She is also popular among her colleagues. She has only one close colleague, nurse Tamara. Otherwise, she is not particularly close to anyone else. She has a boyfriend of 18 years. His name is Emmett, and they have a daughter, Lori. She is 15 and is Lucy's sweetheart. Even though she is 15, she is sensible and does not act out like a typical teenager. Emmett and Lucy are not married. Lucy never wanted to get married, and neither did Emmett. Emmett is a firefighter, but he is often away, and lately he has been disappearing so often that Lucy suspects he has found someone else. Over time, things between them have not been the same as they used to be. For the last 5 years, they have been more like roommates with benefits. But Lucy wanted Lori to grow up in a complete family. Tim Bradford works at METRO. He is 44. He loves his wife with all his heart. He always rushes into everything. Everyone tells him that one day it will come back to haunt him... especially his 15-year-old daughter, Ave. Ave is everything to him. She is the center of his life. He has been alone with her since she was a baby. Her mother packed up and left one day. No one knows where she went or even if she's alive. Tim got used to being alone with Ave. Since Isabel ran away from him and little Ave, he hasn't had anyone else. He doesn't want anyone else.

Everyone in Mid-Wilshire knows Officer Tim Bradford is a wall-hard, unyielding, and impossible to climb. They think he's breaking Officer Lucy Chen because she's a "hot shot" rookie. Tim Bradford is a 27 year old hockey player. He's in a hockey team Arctic Wolves. He's also very dedicated to his sport. He's the team captain. His best friend is John Nolan and Wesley Evers. Both of them are in the hockey team. Angela Lopez is 25, Celina is 23. John is 30 and Wesley is 26. THESE ARE NOT MY CHARACTERS. ITS BASED OF THE SHOW THE ROOKIE.

Tim and Lucy have been coworkers for 20 years. They have always been slightly flirty, but nothing that raises an eyebrow (like Luke and Lorelai from Gilmore Girls) Lucy has a 14-year-old daughter with her husband, Chris. Their daughter's name is Madeline, but they call her Maddie. Lucy has been doing UC work for the past 4 years, but recently went back to patrol so she can spend more time with her family. (Like what Nyla did in season 2)

This story follows on from episode 11 of season 2. After realizing how close to Christmas the Day of the Dead was, I thought I'd write a story about Lucy's journey back to "normal". It won't be an easy journey, but she has people around her to help her...

This is based of season 6, episode 6 just with Olivia Bradford who is Tim's 10 year old daughter whom he had with his ex wife Isabel. However the story slowly becomes the everyday basis of Tim and Lucy's life.

She knows better than to let him touch her. But behind closed doors, better doesn't matter. It's the way he pulls her close like she already belongs there. The way her breath breaks when his mouth finds her skin. The way she forgets her own name when he says it low enough. No one sees what happens in the dark.
