Charles Xavier has been through too much. After losing his mobility after the events of the mission in Cuba, he's a shell of the man he used to be. Finding release in alcohol, he tries to forget all of what he has lost. He tries to move on with his new, broken family. But one man stands in the way of his happiness- the same man who took it away to begin with and broke his family. The same man who had caused Charles to become paralyzed from the waist down- Erik Lehnsherr. Erik has been racked with guilt ever since he had injured Charles- but he doesn't know how bad it is. Not until he runs into the man when they're both trying to rescue a mutant, and he sees that Charles is confined to a wheel chair.

This story is based on the X-Men films with the same characters. If you haven't seen the X-Men films - I recommend seeing them as they are amazing - but you still want to read my book, I would be more than happy to answer any questions. Set in 1984 however they will have phones so they can text. ----- Peter Maximoff has a secret regarding his parentage. [Summary] After hearing a beautiful voice of a familiar young woman at a country fair a noble Count offers her free singing lessons in the most prestigious opera house of all France. Full of hope for a better life, the young woman travels go Opera Garnier in Paris only to discover that the Count promise turned out to be false. Managing to get a job as a costume girl for the new Prima Donna, she resumes her life in Paris. Soon after she is approached by a mysterously masked man who offers her voice lessons free of charge in exchange to remain anonymous. She reluctantly accepts, but later find the man to be much nicer than she expected him ti be. 3 months of hard work have gone by she meets the Count again who invites her to a popular local Bistro, giving her the chance to perform and earn her place as the new opera singer in front of Parisian aristocrats.

When Erik wakes up he feels perfect. Bright strips of sunlight fall over the bedspread and the sound of the student's laughter drift in from an open window. A light breeze makes the curtains sway and beside him, Charles sleeps on. He knows he could, very happily, lie there forever. His mind is calm, his pains nonexistent. Here, he is complete.
