At ten years old, Stassia loses her mother. On the day of the burial, she wanders to a quiet tree far from the cemetery chapel, and there, she meets Christian, a boy who just buried her father. Bound by shared grief, they find comfort in each other's silent company. Every year, on the anniversary of their parents' deaths, they return to that same spot, keeping a tradition alive for a decade.
By twenty, they fall in love. By twenty-three, life tests them cruelly. Yet they keep their promise to return to the tree, their bond unbroken even in the face of death. By twenty-five, during their final visit under the tree, they left behind a legacy of love and devotion.
Two decades, at the same time, at the same spot, fate intervenes again. There, is where it all began.
