Nulena, the Cloud Goddess, lives in the clouds with her two winged kittens. Together, they paint the sky from dawn to dusk, but the Humans below no longer seem to look up and notice. Now feeling forgotten and unappreciated, and sees one of her kittens is losing her happiness too, Nulena sets out on a journey to descend to the Humans below, hoping to make them remember her and her kittens once more. Now among the Humans, Nulena learns they are suffering deeply and no longer care for the colors in the sky. She takes on the grueling task of absorbing their tears, hoping that by freeing them of sorrow, they will remember her-and the colors her kittens paint for them. But dark clouds begin to loom, and the Humans still never care to look up. Now, her kittens no longer see light in their home. Nulena fears not only that these tears will weigh her down, but that there may be a deeper problem she has yet to see.

Picture a yellow meadow: beautiful, bright and happy. We're in a quaint little town and the sky is blue, gorgeous, magnificent, and crystal clear; not a speck of a cloud. Enter the plain little girl: she's wearing a pink coat with yellow flowers, and there's a blue dress under there, she's contemplating the marvelous sky as thoughts of her future penetrate her mind. It's a nice feeling. But it isn't one that lasts.
