He has made new friends, enemies, and many many mistakes. He eventually finds a way to get to back to the place he knows-or what he thought he knew. He comes back with a new friend, Jackson, who is a god. He has to find his way to his long time crush, Astra, who has yet to return his feelings. But when he does, everything he knew has changed. His entire life has been flipped upside down. Not only is she dating his enemy, but she worked for the evil king terrorizing the land. And still is. Astra Holister is confused, in more ways than one. Astra just found out her whole life has been a lie. Her real father is someone she thought was her enemy. He is helping her fight against his brother and her uncle, who she is still working for. And she's confused who she likes more. Her best friend Jake, or her boyfriend Leo Chaffman. Jake and Astra both have to fight their own minds and feelings and not mention somehow defeat the tyrant who has everyone brainwashed. And Jake had a special mission. Taking care of Jackson and making sure he doesn't get hurt while trying to find a way to get him home.

Jake starts to hang out more with the newly wed couple Charlotte and Logan , his girlfriend Mercedes starts to feel left out and when he is around she wants to be around him ? She just wants attention from him .. the relationship feel distant , does the relationship survive this rough patch ?!

It was then, when she said those horrible words, that I finally obliged to what my mind told me. "Build a shield around that damn heart, lock it, and throw the key away." Sure, I was never really that happy - but it was so much better than being miserable. One of the greatest benefits being the fear that my new attitude brought. Because everyone knows not to mess with Genevieve Rogers, she'll break your wrist or something. Even the new kids knew that. Sadly my reign of terror came to an end after a couple years or so. All because of this girl. And I don't know if it hit her in the head or something, but I just hate that she found that damn key.
