Credits to the owner of the illustration used in the book cover. There is a virus that is currently spreading throughout the entire world. It is truly scary and spine-tingling. A group of teenagers teamed up and tried to invent a cure for this deadly virus. Because they believe if they don't help each other, along with other officials, there wouldn't be any human being lurking around earth any time soon. The deadly virus is attacking. But is there an assured cure yet? Sadly, there's none. This is certainly the killer. A massive, powerful and deadly one. The question is... Have they figured it out? Come let's explore the frustrating, frightening, meaningful, and sad crisis about the deadly virus, the killer one itself.

This is a poem I made in Creative Writing class in honor of all those who can't properly celebrate their graduation this year. My prayers for you and your family's safety during these rough and scary times. #StayStrong #KeepYourHeadUp Inspired By Gerald Stern's "The Dog" (It's more thought provoking then it sounds)

When the lock down hit Canada, I thought I'd take time to post a poem each day, expecting the "15 days to flatten the curve" to end in, well, 15 days. Silly m e. My aim had been to add something to the social conversation in my little corner of IG (@andrewkooman). To laugh, to yell, to share what I needed to share, but amidst all of the fear and uncertainty, to add some beauty to it too. I loved seeing musicians, local and global, perform concerts and lift spirits in unique ways. So why not do that through writing. 80 days later, I had a compilation of visual poems that captured a sense of life in the pandemic, a collection of thoughts over time . So I thought I'd share that here.

"Την στιγμή που γράφω αυτές τις γραμμές, επιβεβαιώσαμε ότι ο ιός έχει μεταλλαχθεί τουλάχιστον μία φορά, καθιστώντας το 47% του παγκόσμιου πληθυσμού απροστάτευτο από τον ιό."
