When my dear neighbor and friend, Cy (Cyril) , sadly passed away on December 14, 2018 after a courageous battle with a very painful illness, I was inspired to write this limerick in his honor. I had the pleasure of having Cy and his wife, Bette, as neighbors for 28 years. Cy was an outdoor enthusiast and a perfectionist in maintaining his neat home and property. He was a very kind and generous person who always came to the rescue with a smile when we needed assistance with mechanical problems with our lawnmowers, snowblowers, plumbing , carpentry, etc.

Never beg someone to be with you forever. Never beg someone to stay. As a woman you should never have to ask to feel wanted by a man. A strong woman will authomatically stop trying if she feels unwanted. Acceptance and forgiving is the key to move on not by begging an attention to someone who can't give it back. But sadly Gab realized that slowly losing herself being fighting someone who just giving her a frustration, so that she got tired of chasing an affection after she fight someone. Do you think if Brent fight her too, the relationship will still work?Do you think Gab will accept Brent, If Brent explains everything to Gab?The reason why Brent didn't fight?Is she give another chance to Brent after a few years of being apart and he is still inlove to Gab, even the trauma of pain comes from Brent.
