This is because Hecate didn't want to have anymore demigod children because they were too powerful, and too dangerous.

Zatana is different from most demigods, because she's not a half-blood. Always on the outside, she lived in an overcrowded cabin for 8 years because her mother wouldn't claim her, and then was forced to fight against her own siblings in the titan war. Things are never normal for a demigod, but they're even worse for a demigod witch.

One year after the war of the Titans, Camp Halfblood seems back on track. Until there peace is perturbed by something, or someone.
