Gonna be cliche, this is a Violyn Pirate AU fic, but I will of course be featuring other characters in Arcane as well. Please don't get salty at me for complete disregard of the League of Legends game though, I've only seen the show. The story begins with Caitlyn investigating a recent cargo ship raid and Vi in Prison, anything that occurs before however will be touched back upon via flashbacks. That being said, let's hop to it. Current story cover is temporary and will be updated once I make a good one

The Bridge of Progress secondary school is looking the worst it has for a while. With the opening of new schools in both Zaun and Piltover, the mixed secondary has lost a lot of pupils and teachers alike. One remaining student is Vi, who attends with her sister Powder and their good friend Ekko. She's always kept to herself and her small circle of friends, but as many have now left, she faces a lonely last year of education. That is, until she meets a blue haired girl who seems too friendly towards her... Have fun reading! Hope this manages to scratch the Arcane itch season 2 has left so many of us with!

Caitlyn is always been the smartest person she knew before vi turned up in her life 10 years ago. That girl wasn't afraid to one up her. For years the two have been academic rivals. Constantly neck and neck for the highest grade. They are rivals, is what vi tells herself as they glance at each other or "accidentally" bump into each other in the corridors. Maybe vi wants more than to win... Maybe Caitlyn does too... Was this ever about grades? Violet hated the way the principal's preppy daughter wouldn't stop trying to talk to her. She hated her in general. That girl was rich and pretty since birth, she always got everything she wanted. She always had perfect grades and kept acting like she was flawless all the time. All her friends were horrible rich people, Vi had ninety nine percent chances to get bullied if she ever talked to them. Since they started to see each other a lot, Violet noticed some things about the principal's daughter. Vi noticed the way she didn't eat properly, the perfectly align scars on her thighs when the wind lifted up her skirt and the way her uniform jacket had a scent of smoke to them. But that didn't matter. Caitlyn could cut herself with a scalpel and a ruler, Vi wasn't a therapist. She had enough issues alone, like the Children's Support Service, her grades going down, and the way her educator from the Children's Support Service would react if her grades went down. Although, when Violet stopped going to school, only one person was there for her.

She hadn't meant to get into kahoots with a girl like her. It felt like the plot of a comedic sitcom. Loser is used for whatever strange queer emotional baggage the popular girl has. Vi just had a tendency to attract trouble whether it was her family, her grades, or even closeted mean girls who would normally never give her the time of day. As the wrong person starts to grow suspicious Vi is left with the ultimatem of self preservation or a heart that yearns in secret.

First time writer not very good!!! I like to imagine they met after Vi and Jinx move schools cause there's shut down for repairs to something and they met! At first Caitlyn seems like a stuck up teacher's pet with a cute accent and long thick hair that Vi can't help but stare at in the seat behind her. But after they get assigned to work on a project together they grow closer and Caitlyn releases Vi's more than a tough exterior and flashy pink hair and Vi realizes Caitlyn's more than a stuck up, suck up. ⚠️‼️DISCLAIMER‼️⚠️ Cover art and further pics are from Pinterest!!
