Kupują czas, możliwości, bezpieczeństwo, a czasem nawet ludzi. I nie zamierza udawać, że tego nie lubi. Louis również wie, czego chce. Tyle że w jego świecie nikt nie podaje mu niczego na srebrnej tacy. Każdą rzecz musi zdobyć sam. Każdy sukces kosztuje go czas, wysiłek albo kolejne wyrzeczenie. Pieniądze nie są dla niego zabawką - są czymś, o co trzeba walczyć. Kiedy ich drogi się przecinają, Camelia szybko odkrywa, że Louis jest jedną z niewielu osób, których nie potrafi kupić.
